About Surah An-Nasr

Surah An-Nasr (النصر) is the one hundred and tenth chapter of the Holy Quran. Its name means “The Divine Support.” It is a Madani Surah consisting of 3 ayahs and is contained in the thirtieth Juz of the Quran.

Surah An-Nasr speaks about the help and victory granted by Allah and the entry of people into Islam in large numbers.

The Surah points to success not as a reason for pride but as a moment for greater humility and worship.

When victory arrives, the instruction is to glorify Allah, praise Him, and seek His forgiveness.

This teaches that achievement should make believers more conscious of Allah rather than more impressed with themselves.

The Surah is also understood as an indication that the mission of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was approaching completion.

Surah An-Nasr presents a powerful model for responding to success with gratitude, remembrance, and repentance.
